Women Stand Their Ground Against Big Coal

In late 2018, civil society organisations Lumiere et Synergie pour le Developpement (LSD), a member of the Coalition of African Civil Society Organisations on the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the WoMin African Gender and Extractives Alliance partnered to commission a gender impact assessment of the Sendou I coal power plant in Senegal. The objective was to engage the AfDB on its gender policy.
